I guess one of the reason is that it's not easy to find traditional thai dancer in sg who are willing to perform the dance offering. Additionally, Singaporeans have the idea that the one in bkk is the original and hence the most effective.

Random fact. Did u guys know that there was actually 2 statue consecrated and blessed by the then Thai king? One is at bkk where the bombing happened, the other was passed to the high abort in way ratkang.
