More update about this incident. My friend's in-laws have found out that the 8 korean assailants are actually residents in AC. They are draft dodgers who fled korea and came to stay in AC. None of them are working as they come from rich families. Besides these 8 guys there are more of them and the actual group is about 30+ guys. They will be in fields ave almost every night. Their favourite hangout places are Crystal Palace, Dollhouse, Club Atlantis, Cambodia Bar and the casinos. The staff and girls love them as they are known to be generous tippers. And because of their family connections they are above the law...... the authorities here in AC are afraid of them.

So bros going to AC keep a lookout for these koreans..... not worth to get into trouble because of them.

P.S - If anyone wants to kick these koreans butt...... they can be found in a gym along Narcisco street...... the gym is owned by a korean lady who teaches yoga and aerobics there..... but she rents the place to these group of korean men thrice weekly for their martial art class.

You better make sure, you have a hotel reservation, all the hotels and apartments are fully booked! Tourists are looking for an empty rooms by the dozen!

Also, this trip will be my last since I'm getting tired of AC, Bangkok nightlife is lot better! My Hawaiian friends still likes this place but after 4 trips, I'm tired of Filipinos, food and gogo bars!

Yeah bro, no problem, I already have reserved a Jacuzzi Suite at the Royal Amsterdam Hotel ! I now just hope there are enough beautiful ladies to go around for all the tourists (including me !)

When will you be in AC ? Maybe we can meet up ?

I would say Bangkok nitelife is different and it provides a different "flavour" from Philippines. May I suggest you can also try Jakarta. Nowadays I am also venturing HCMC, and possibly planning for Cambodia.....we all need variety

Tha baloon festivals already ended but currently there are so many tourists in AC, all the available rooms are already takened. So make sure you already reserved a place to stay before heading to AC, I've seen at least 15 people walking around looking for a place to stay at night, I don't know where they're going to sleep!

Also, I've heard it takes very long time to fill jacuzzi tub so good luck, also becareful of the dirty water!

Yes, the hotels are packed as usual and worse at this time. But the girls in the bars are plentiful as usual cos they are usually catering to the tourists whereas the regulars and veterans rely on their cel phone and connect with the girls.
I just checked into my hotel and got the last available room. Those who do end up with no rooms can look for hotels slightly away from Fields. Ask for advise here and there are members who will help.

I would not worry too much about them.

From your accounts, it won't be long before they piss off a local or some other person they wish they hadn't. As you know, in the Phils, life is cheap, someone will eventually take a hit out on them, or do it themselves. Notice how readily available firearms are? We get patted down everytime we go inside SM.

They have been lucky so far, but with that sort of arrogance, it won't go far.
