I get my taxis from the travel agent. There are a couple of them opposite the Margarita Station that I use regularly and I don't pay more than 1800p. Sometimes the drivers try to pull a fast one on me by pulling into a petrol station to refill and ask me to pay for it. I tell them to go fly kite... in a nice way.

I guess i wont go subic anymore..next trip will be bringing my girl to boracay or travel to manila to baguio with her aunty's family, her aunty married a white guy and had been living in AC for 20 years...

They have a floating bar...... Its another resort specially for divers.
I wouldn't go into the waters there if I were you though.

I used to swim happily without a care at Changi Point or Marine Parade beach. Water was great. Then i swam in Malaysian beaches. I gave up on Singapore beaches.

The waters in Subic Bay is kind of stagnant and the level of pollution including high waste discharge into the waters makes me fearful to get in.

My scoring of the 3 site's waters. Malaysia 8, Singapore 5, Subic 2.

The factories are discharging their wastes into the Subic Bay........ many who swam there ended up having skin allergies...... the pollution there is really terrible.

MANILA, Philippines—Philippine authorities say a fire swept through three adjacent hotels, killing three American retirees, one South Korean and two Filipino women.

Disaster response official Angelito Layug said one of the Americans was trapped on a staircase and the two others died in their rooms early Friday in Olongapo city, a former U.S. naval base west of the capital, Manila.

The blaze hit the small hotel buildings that are located next to each other at 3 a.m. and was put out three hours later.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
