Good insights. What I am worried is that the manager do not know how to use his players well. We all know he is famous for using the players out of position . Already during this pre-season friendlies I am already seeing a new player being utilised out of position. It will be interesting to see how the manager will line up the team in the new season. Now he can't say he don't have the players he need.

Heskey is a holding player whereas Benteke is a raging bull. Even if Benteke dun score.... his movements around the opponents defense often cause panic.

Too many signings and our opening games are all killers.
No time to gel and we are going to lose massive points and play catch up in the second half of the season.

Agreed. 2 seasons ago, we didn't expect to be so close to winning the league. Many of us here have been chatting in this thread for the past 9 years. We are quite used to less expectation = less disappointment by now.

I remember there is a guy who say everytime he watches a live match, Liverpool will end up losing. Who is he ah? Last season he must have watched many live matches.

Sometimes our players don't perform up to expectations. I was expecting more from Lallana and Liverpool fan Lambert. I think if we are not in the top 4 by Dec, BR will be under pressure.

We can support our team as a fan but not blindly la. If they are good that we give credit when it is due! But not when they play lousy then things like give them time to gel la, just recover from injury la! C'mon, every season got new players and every season we wait for them to gel? Ask BR to gel up his backside la!

The performance by Liverpool was lacklustre.

Ibe was the sole spark in the match.

The Malaysian team played well too with heavy pressing.

I have noticed when teams press Liverpool, they are unable to continue the passing game and become a mess.

This was displayed over several occasions in the Premier League in the past two seasons.
