No bro, just an expression and joke that to be careful what you order in a KTV(notice i said -"Ha" in my post) . I was a bit overcharged from what I remember when going with 2 friends but don't remember for what though. I'm 99.9% sure it was not for the tissue I ask for ,but that means leaving a 0.1% chance it could've been the tissue, again not 100% sure right??-ha ha.

Second Night
Vikings (7:30pm) - Besides new (with paint smell), nothing appealing here.
Golden Nile (8pm) - Quality and quantity. Took my regular from my pervious trip. Waitress very very pushy for LD. Spent almost PH10,000 on drinks. My regular girl performance dropped, and showing signs of high maintenance. "Galaxy SII lost" *Hint* *Hint*. So decided to cut her lose the next day. Will give this place a miss next time.

Third Night
Ponytails (2pm) - No quality, No quantity. Cheap birs though.
Crystal Palace (7pm) - Took another green tag. No runner. Decided to keep her for the next day.

Forth Night
Ponytails (5pm) - Meet up with bro mufans over bir. More girls, maybe I went too early the day before. Later bro Datou dropped by to say hi. After that bro mufan and myself went to Tequila Reef for dinner.
Crystal Palace (8pm) - Had a round of bir with bro mufan here, but not to his liking. I call it a night after that, and bro mufan heads out to other bars.

I know its hard to keep up with bars and what quality as it could change week to week.
Wow--10,000p for drinking in one bar--you the man. Like a high roller in a casino all the gals will flock to you. For me thats my spending money for the entire week in AC which might explain why no gals flock to me

Just to add and you will learn with more trips here that most waitress can sense what they can get away with. If you are firm and let them know and take charge when you order (if ever) another drink for yourself or even LDs for her. Dont be rude but dont be a pushover either. Will save yourself alot of LDs and overtipping.
BTW: if you gave them a 250p "tip" for a 250p DLD, you actually bought them TWO DLDs. Remember that they get a commission for their LD and they only get to keep about half (depending on the bar some only get maybe 40%). No wonder they were all smiles when you gave them such a good tip.
Just for reference, I never tip a waitress that made me feel uncomfortable--remember rule #1: NEVER tip for bad service
follow by rule #2: Never buy any LDs for anyone that make me feel uncomfortable,
And Pushy women fit into both rules #1 &2 in my books.

Cum to think of it, my wifey is pushy also, maybe thats why I never tipped her either

On each visit to Cebu, I would visit downtown at least once around the colon area. So far, if there is a 'must-visit' place like you friend claimed, i haven't noticed it. In this place, there're mostly lanes with small shops on both sides of the street. In one of the lane close to Gaisano, there're few very small pubs filled with seedy looking locals and old caucasians dressed like back-packers. Same area, you'll find those low-class karaoke that give you the feeling of 'You can check in, but you may not check out' so i didn't try those. Anyway my understanding is that you won't find a gem here. Of course there's also the infamous jonquerra chics which I think you local friend might be referring to these, but i wouldn't recommend.

One place in downtown you might want to visit is E-mall - filled with syts since many schools nearby, but some are too young. Other than that, best get would be to stick to uptown ayala and SM, and midtown mango.

I have not been back to Cebu in over 2 years now but didn't the cops pretty much cleaned up this area--was also known as the "basketball court" as many pimps would gather there and take you to their group of girls. That basketball court has grown bigger ...... and they have a "soccer stadium" now
