somehow deep down, i was hoping that kuyt would miss... so that GOD would be able to take the final spot kick and send us all to heaven... is something wrong with me?
 then again, for all of kuyt's effort, he didn't deserve to miss... definitely my man of the match for his all his efforts on goals, closing down of players and never-say-die attitude!!! he looks kinda like 'he-man' at the end when he held both arms up in celebration in front of the kop...

My, what another great European night! We were on our last legs (literally for a few of our players!) but fought all the way.
Zenden in the team? Vindicated his selection easily. Reina? Hopefully no one here will want to get rid of him anymore. Easily man of the tie. Kept us in it at Stamford Bridge and won us the tie tonight. Rafa on his backside with pouch to boast - classic Anfield moment. In 2005, there was Istanbul. Now there is Athens.
