hi bro,

i have got a lot of private vids but being an IT idiot, i donno how to convert them from tape to my harddisk to post. the files are usually very very big. any ideas?

Tape? As in vcr videotape or those serial magnetic backup tapes?..

videotape then a bit ma fan liao, cos you'll need a vid capture card, then have to connect your vcr player to the card and run it on the comp and use the card to capture the playback onto disk..

no, its DV tapes. i know how to load the content into the hard drive, but those files are huge. donno how to reduce their resolutions to post. can help?
