Take a flight to shanghai...then take their airport bus 5 to shanghai train station..then take a train to NJ....

I think this is the most economical...

SQ now fly direct to NJ 3 times a wk, Wed, Fri and Sun. I'm so regular on this flight that they will sometimes upgrade me to business class if the flight is full.

Don't expect discounted fares tho', cos they monopolise this route. The cheapest it can get is $500 rtn for 2-to-go, excl taxes.

I think this is reasonable la.. compare to the air ticket of MU SHA-SGP which cost me about 800++ during the 1st May holiday.. Can pass me the Nanjing travel agency number so can plan next trip from nanjing instead Sha

I think you refer to Rizhao shandong province.. that place is pretty quiet though.. been there a few times few years ago and the Karaoke place is nothing to shout about. Don't know the HC scene. Perhaps you can ask your local colleague....

Yes Rizhao shandong province about two to three hour drive from Qingdao... No feedback from the local colleague

Tip for gal should be around Rmb 100. As for ST/LT, my guess is Rmb 250/400 for Rizhao eventhough I have not try that.
