I know some angmos a few years ago when the euro took over many currencies , gave the girls a bunch of lira but end up the greedy girl found out it was worthless!

to answer the original question , Baht is king la. The smarter girls will know the conversation rates so will accept but the bars will not accept SGD for the brinks/barfines etc. Again the smart waiter/waitress will personally change for you at a unfavourable rate so its better to bring BAHT.
