I was the M is Sassina's report. Yes it was quite a fun litte Jalan Jalan through the Little Indo area of Geylang. Over the past month I have made several visits to this area, and I have had a blast each time.

It is amazing how many Indo girls are out there working the street. Of course only one in five is really attractive. But we did see about 5 or 6 really stunning ones. What is surprising is that the ST value offered in Geylang is not that for off from what ST costs in Batam. You saw we were quoted between 40 and 80, but you can get almost all for between 30 and 50 hotel included. And I am an ang mo, and you know those Chinese pimps hate to see me get a good price.

As I reflect, there are couple of things I really like about the Geylang free lance field trippers.

1) Unlike in Planet and Pacific - You actually get a much better view of the girls. It's funny, how many of the girls recognized us from the discos but I had absolutely no recall of them. I think they must be born with some kind of infrared night vision I don't have. The absence of darkness does have one draw back - while the girls will still fondle you like crazy in the lorong you can't reciprocate like you can do in the discos.

2) You can actually have a conversation and talk flirt not just body language flirt. The indo ceweks are so damn playful and engaging in Geyalng. It such a contrast to the Mei Mei manequiens just a block away. Although those mei mei sure look pretty and are much better gift wrapped. A great way to get even more play-flirting is two buy some longans or mango from the passing guy. One time I coughed up for a bag of logans and I sat there holding a sweet cewek in my arms while she peeled and hand me fruit. Definately worth the two bucks.

3) The greatly diminshed second hand smoke is a godsend. If you have been anywhere in Indonesia you will appreciate this

4) Unlike the discos you don't have to wait until midnight! The girls seem to be out in force by 10 PM

5) Also, hanging for a beer or kopi at the coffee shop almost always leads to meeting some interesting characters and it very cheap entertainment.

Some of the negatives relative to Batam
1) There is a much smaller number of ceweks, thus potential targets, versus Batam.

2) Some of the Pimps are real pricks and can be difficult to deal with. Frankly I hate seeing my money go to middleman who add no value and in fact reduce the enjoyment of my experience

3) LT is about twice what it coss in Batam, while ST costs the same. Sassina was gracious saying I got a good LT for 150, but it wasn't a good price. I booked this girl a 1AM and she had to leave at 10AM. There is now way she is gonna do another four or five ST sesssions that night, especially with the potential raids. However, the previous week I was going to book the same girl and the Pimp in I got into a rather public face losing (for him and her) discussion about the price. I am sure Sassina notcied how overly gracious the Pimp was when I just took the price as stated.

4) While here in Singapore there girls are in very high volume mode. The girl I took LT last night had already done six guys. Her poor puki sakit! When in Batam the FL girl is lucky if she gets a booking. So instead of the ubiquitous request for disco biscuits you get a constant chorus of "ST darling".

Oh well if you see a Bule Besar joking with ceweks somewhere between Lorong 10 and 14 stop and say a hello.

Bro sassina and BM, noticed that there is a food court opp Harmoni Apartment. Is it good? Have u tried it b4?

I remember my fren ever bought deep fried frog legs and he said that the stall is around there. So not sure if there is the place. D deep fried frog legs beri good leh.

Then if u turn right n go towards hotel Royal, not far after the turn, there is a row of shophouse that is higher then road level. Notice there got a new seafood restaurant. Name is something shang ----- seafood. Can't remember the rest liao. Didn't have time to try them cause most of the time I go to OKI.

Thought maybe asking both you and BM would throw some light to these 2 places.

Very Soli, I believe that that one is Happy Sindo Pujasera is it?

Not many food stalls there and I only tried the one selling normal cooked food which is not bad.

The main reason I used to go there was one Beer Pouring Guiness Char Bor who has left and I also kicked her out of my list (1st time good, 2nd time good, and 3rd time trouble) so I have not had reason to go againg.

One day I will check it out again if I am that way for your frog legs, meanwhile, over to you BM on frogs!

Also, seafood restaurant you mentioned I have not tried. Again, over to BM. My favourite is still that one with Ah Kow at Punggur!

What happens? you got local cina frens to drive you around and you have frequent BT very often and yet you do not know that next to the food court (opp. Harmoni Aprt) you mentioned above got a famous confectionary known as 'Morning Bakery'? - that area is called Windsor Centre (those shop and house blocks) and there are 2 joints within the blocks (you won't know the ayam farms cos you never kio kway ... hahaha)

KNNzzz you very clever hor, tok about the easy wan on Sindo Happy which almost everybody knows, then pass me the dunno what what seafood restaurant near Royal hotel.
Truth is, I also did not notice this restaurant, and I don't think many people will unless they served GOOD food.
But there's 1 more famous restaurant also along the road where Royal is. 888, food quite nice but prices are a little on the high side.

yeah BM is right,888 fajar rest. serves reasonable seafood.
Theres another new one at Bukit Senyum called Tabgha...nice setting and fantastic view.
