Really the performance of the team seemed to be getting from bad to worse . The senior players should have no excuse as they were given time off . I wonder sometimes is it too soon for the inured players like Clyne ; Coutinho and Henderson being rushed back into the team . They still don't know how to break the parked bus . And they still don't know how to defend from set pieces . What is the use when you are controlling the ball when you can't score and defend ? Both the players and Klopp must take the blame for this match. If they continue to play like this even qualifying for the Europa League doesn't look good . For sure Chelsea will win the title this season. Oh well .

Again the team falls to a lower level team. Such a shame for everyone associated with the team.

Since the era of Rodgers we are unable to break down a team with bodies behind the ball. I am feeling very disappointed.

Are we going to keep investing in players who we can sell at a higher value in the future? If the owners are serious about winning they need to send out a signal by signing big names not just players who they deem are big.

You can't win anything with defending like that. That Lovren header for the corner was under 16 stuff. Clyne was just abysmal.

I just don't know we have been so flat over the last month. A midfield consisting of Henderson, Can and Wijnaldum does not offer any balance at all. This was shown to be the case again today.

When Lallana has moved out of midfield, it takes any creativity we had in midfield out of the team. Henderson/Can/Wijnaldum cannot create the chances Lallana creates or the ability to break out of the three and offer an additional player in attack.

The ideal would be to have Lallana in midfield every single game but that means getting in another player who can play the channels up top. We need more than Mane and Coutinho to fill those gaps either side of Firmino.
