Ok,thx...in that case,from ur definition,the TS question with etc etc in his 1st post is the objective of this thread whereas the title named Batam Info Thread is not. I'm just curious & of course feeling rather ironical.i need to take up my England course again.

I have a suggestion on your below post. I think if you wish to add pictures on your joint listing,you should at least add all the name cards you collected. It appears some of the name cards are missing. I suggest that because the phones numbers on it can be pretty crucial to fellow cheongsters who visit Batam,especially so during Indonesia/Singapore public holidays. And end of the year is nearing.

Newton Disco - at Newton Hotel, also knows as "Planet 2" ("Planet Dua"). More packed, darker and with louder music than Pacific.

Planet Disco - at Planet Holiday Hotel. The smallest among these 3. Seedy and dark, not really recommended if one does not feel comfortable in a place with ill reputation.

Planet 3 ("Planet Tiga") - near Jodoh. Nice place and well patronized, but icy aircondition.

Ozone Disco - Closed (unverified,known to be the worst)


5. Live Music

Do not leave your drinks unattended at these places. A few expats have been drugged & robbed.Keep your HP secure.

Noname – Located on the ground floor of the Harmoni Hotel is a popular live music venue for locals and expats. Most of the acts are flown in from Jakarta and one of the best place to meet local ladies.

Java Pub – just reopened, and has live music on Friday & Saturday. Older crowd, (like Jaya pub JKT but smaller) Comfortable place to hang out.

Bingo’s Pub – just opened and has live music on Friday’s & Saturdays. Good place, nice staff and occasional celebrity entertainers popping in for a song or jam. A nice alternative to the usual very loud rap / trance pubs.

Sullivans – Used to be Ria Rita and has live music on the weekends. Mostly a local crowd. Across the street from the side entrance of Lusys (helps to speak Bahasa – mostly local gals).

Pak SBY is correct; this is a peaceful thread and there is no need to question Nono's good intention. I also like to learn from the others here too apart from wanting to contribute. Just appreciate and be more humble. My only thought is not to be too open about sharing details that may compromise the interest parties. For example we can pm ctc or private info at the discretion of the brothers here. When we visit batam, try to be careful, low key and not be too predictable.

1st and foremost kudos to bro nono1973. He has and is still contributing alot to this thread. I cant think of any other bros (including me) who contributed as much as bro nono1973.

Now, dont get me wrong. The title "batam info" obviously mean u can post any info so long related to Batam. I agree on that. But we all know generally why bro log in here and what info are they searching. Newbies or even some seniors may have to browse thru pages by pages important info related to cewek in future.

Again bro nono1973, no heart feelings. U are still doing a good job.
