No. The FFA association of agents which does valuation of players plying their trade in the leagues of the European Union put his maximum value at 31m only.
As that is the top dollar when he is performing at his best.... then I would say fair value should be around 25m as no player can be playing at his best all year round. There are bound to be ups and down in performance level.

He is not worth 40m.
Premier League is very diffrent from Serie A and he struggled with Chelsea.
We should not pay a cent more then 20m for him.
In fact I do not even want him at our club.

I am very very disappointed that Liverpool is pushing so hard to sign Mo Salah. Especially at such a ridiculous price.

With a manager like Klopp and Champions League football I expect the club to sign better players. Very disappointed with Liverpool.

This shows even with so much positives the Transfer Commitee is in control of the transfers. I want FSG out of the club.

Thanks for all the replies to my question above. I wonder why is Liverpool then willing to pay such a high price for an average player . For a player who did not have much success at Chelsea . Read that Salah might be arriving at Anfield for a possible medical check up on Tuesday .

When Liverpool paid about 30 mils for Sadio Mane, most fans also kpkb he was not worth that value but when Mane started to score and run at opp defence, fans started to celebrate and praise "signing of the season".

Personally, I dun like Salah and paying more than 20 mils is too much but if he does join Liverpool, then welcome him, hope he is like Mane and proves me wrong.

There are reports saying Aubemayang n Oxlade Chamberlain are back on the radar again! These 2 would be the perfect signings if Pool can afford them! As long as don't buy that Egyptian mummy I am damn happy!

I can tell the Pool supporters here. Nobody wants Salah now, only Pool is so stupid to pay £35m for him! This Egyptian mummy is only after the $$$, he has no interest to play for Liverpool @all. Well, those who hv been watchin EPL or playing fantasy league would hv known Ox is injury prone n hv been spending time in the treatment room every season. He doesnt look that fantastic to me either. I hope Pool doesnt sign him.
