Long time lurker! Gonna be in HCMC in about a weeks time. Wondering if anybody ever stay at Mercure Hotel? Same building as Gossip - very convenient! Singviet's CA services seems very tempting too! Is the Gold or Plantinum service still available?

America disco is part of the hotel facility but I went up via the lift at the side entrance... can ask the door attendant about the direction...

Dear brothers who are in Vietnam/Ho Chih Minh City/Hanoi now,

Greetings! I am thinking of heading up to either HCMC or Hanoi in early September for a solo tour (wife not interested) but can't decide whether to go to HCMC or Hanoi. I'm there mainly to take photos, but also want to check out the girls there. Perhaps some advice for me, like which city got better-looking and more friendly voluptuous girls. Also, since I am going to take portraitures of people (serious portraits, not dirty pix ), where do you think is a nicer place to visit?

Also, are these places safe? Any tips on how to go about picking up girls, and moving around safely?

Thanks in advance. As I will be there for only 2 nights, would want to be as efficient and effective as I possibly can.

Why do you want foreign meat in HCM when there are plentiful of local meat. After being there for a few years, i still cannot get enough of local meat.... think will fly back soon for a few nights to taste local meat again

Taking photos of ppl anywhere also has. If u talk abt taking photos of surrounding then HCMC n Hanoi will not be an ideal place.

HCMC n Hanoi are quite safe, when in the public area just mind your own business. Dun wear thick gold chain n have thousands of USD in your pocket sticking out. Abt picking up gers, u can try those recommended discos n pubs mentioned in this thread. The problem is, too many gers, too little siao.

Hi Bros,
i just return from HCM ...overall is a good trip for mi cause my buddy getting married over there..i also get the chance to see my baxa...been to Club America at Windsor plaza..quite a nice place to chill out..with quite a handful of WL..but too bad no chance for mi...most of them are dep trai....Hope can go back there soon....
