Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
Bro Cassanova,
I congratulate you on your maturity and also your ability to endure any taunts by immature and idiotic readers. I have seen a few success stories too. And it all boils down to the strenght of the couple. What is past is past, you cannot live in the past. You live for the future. My friend was actually haunted by fears of his wife returning to her former line of work. Or because she was very beautiful and sexy, he was always afraid of someone else coming to take her. But he went for counselling and the counsellor just said that.. "She married you because of your strength and belief. Do not let her down by being so small and petty. You are already above all these guys.. guys who may know her from her former line and guys who will lust for her because of her looks". I know them both personally and she will cause people to nosebleed. (Japanese and AV quality) But as long as he believes in her and as long as he loves her, she loves him back so much more. To all who wish to flame, please show a bit of EQ lah.... You do not want to be in the same situation too lah... Just imagine... your normal wife.... she must have had other sex partners and boyfriends before... If someone comes up and says such hurting things.. how would you feel? What do you gain by putting people down? What do you gain by hurting other people? A moment of enjoyment, may come back with a lifetime of pain...

Came back a weeks later and thought I looked for her. That's when I started to call her. She was then working almost about 1 year already. After few months of courting, she decided to quit and working as waitress. Going back to the same trade was tempting (for money of coz). I wasn't in BKK all the time, I trust her and over a couple of years. We go back to her village in Chiangmai. Bought the land with house, got back then sometime later got married, got a boy who is now just turn 2.

Everyone, you and me included, tend to speak, comment, scold or communicate with others using our experiences in life..things that we think we know.. So what i'm saying is, we cannot fault people who have had less experience than you in life... This is not a show off statement but is true and can be said of human -beings.... You must have been to somewhere or gone thru something before you realised or you gained another thing in the process... You dun know the meaning of high unless you've been to the lowest before!!! You wun know how wealthy you are unless you've been poor before! You dun know how good it is to be alive unless you've been dying before. You dun realise how hurting you've been to others till you been hurt yourself. you dun know how lucky you are till you see someone more sway than you. Life is full of different experiences.....everyone of us go thru different things and experienced different outcomes....and thus learnt different lessons....why be bothered by the comments of the less-learned?? They are not wrong..... just that they've not been there yet...slowly but surely, they know what we are talking about....they'lll understand where we speak from and why we do so.... They just have not been thru what I've been thru...why be bothered by someone who wants to think he knows more....you can never never win him...or maybe he did went thru more but came out of it a lot worse...and its been hurting till now... why scold him and add to his wound? Life is as such... What you see may not be what you'll get....and what you've gotten may not be what you've seen....

Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
... And I was wondering if it is still ok for me to update this thread by bro casannova03...
Anyway, big thanks to bro casannova03 for this thread of his, for treading on waters much less taken by others.. Your contributions of your views and experience are first-rated and will be valuable for those whom might be lost in the midst of the process of going through similar processes... I have my share of story, though if I were to narrate it, it'll might be quite another epic story! It's fun and interesting to see, hear views from others and in somewhat kind of feeling, it's familiar and heart-warming.. I've also learnt a bit more from bro DYBJ as he's seems of another class of story altogether! (a peek of mine scenario: it's almost like bro DYBJ.. ) Cheers and all the best to your future happiness!

Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
Woah! Its been a long time and I see my thread has not been utilised by bros who have mentioned that they wanna share their own experiences...
Anyway, I have been busy trying to put my career back on track after my own business wound down due to slowdown in the forseeable future... I guess I will try to be here and post regularly since I have seen some fruits of my labour now. Let me go thru where i stopped last and I shall continue from there as soon as i can! Cheers!!

Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
Looking back on my own thread, i believe that I have more or less covered the period from ....
1.) Getting to know you. 2.) Developing the relationship 3.) Encountering cultural/fundamental differences 4.) Handling family objections 5.) Getting married and the initial life after marriage. Seriously, i think there is nothing more to write on.... Simply because if you have come to this stage, you should be experiencing the relationship as a normal couple. Whatever problems - monetary, language, expectations etc - should be taken in your stride as challenges you would have in any other normal marriages. From hereon, its how you managed and handle the marriage problems and conflicts, just like any other normal ones. So i think its quite unnecessary to write further..because I only have like 5 years plus of marriage experience and i dun think it much compared to many other bros in here.... However, as i was pondering on how to continue my thread, I have come up with an alternative.... That is to engage the psychology when one is in such a relationship...It might have been covered here and there in the past postings but i thought this requires a bit more study because in any relationship involving WLs, I think there is a bit more mental challenge involved.... Hope I can start soon!! Cheers! and happy labour day!!

Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
Bro Cass,
Give some insights into your daily life with missus for the past 6 years. How you feel if there's any difference/similarity to other friends who married SG girls? How about functions or wedding dinners be it colleagues or relative? One thing for sure, i dun have to eat out everyday.

Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
At least I see some brothers who are positive and "think out of the box" here
Hoping to see more bros can understand and see things at a higher perspective. When one talks about PRC or other gals who are WL the negative tend to overcome the positive. Stories we hear about Siilyporean got cheated are only very minor. China hold the 20 over % of the world population if the number stills stand. SIngapore is smaller then one of China city population so when we hear or see news on cheated cases is only 0.00000001 maybe As for the media, Singapore is so small and there is no other news so ...... Knowing this type of news will make the publication sales goes up. Always think 2 side of the stories. Not all love cheated case will apply to everyone. I have friends that are successful with the KTV PRC gals and have married but did not want to publish in SB forum as they want the past put behind them. They want to start afresh As some SB brothers will add salt. pepper or even oil to have it boil up You respect others and others will respect you So let bro casannova03 live happily after .......... and close and seal his own book "BLESSING" Last edited by sexrookie; 02-05-2009 at 10:17 AM. |
