Most places closed around 0300hrs while I was there. Should be sufficient
time to get drunk, get laid or both. Looks like its going to be a month or so before it does back to closing after 0300hrs.

I feel things are starting to slow down as of now. During my trip, the bars & disco weren't as crowded as during Nov - Jan period. Unfortunately, the girls are also proportionally fewer as well.

To check out the "official low season period", just check out the hotel rates of the hotel there. Clearly stated. Some even divide into low season, high season, peak season, super peak season, almost like the Genting Reservation Rates.

just came back from Phuket. Last visit this island is 7 years ago. Find this place too commerical and expensive. Prefer Bangkok and Pattaya now.

i dont think phuket more ex than bkk leh...i know pattaya is cheap la.

phuket is better than just hardcore cheonging. there are alot of daytime activities for the young and old hearted.

When it comes to accomodation and cheonging, Phuket is definitely more expensive than Bangkok.

Even daily sustenance (makan) is noticeably more expensive, and dining seafood at touristy Patong beach from restaurants more peng. That's how HKT is.

Phuket is a paradise for Ang Moh (Family Oriented) and Japanese.

I like the beach a lot though.

Went to the pearl earlier. The guy quoted 2900 all inclusive, seems steep for phuket town so i left. Checked out soi 11 as well, that street looks bad. Any recommendations pls?
