Latest I heard was that Filipinos working in KL are being assaulted by the Malaysians. Also the Malaysian High Comm in the PI have beefed up security as they are expecting demonstrations and protests. I also understand from my Johore relatives that the Malaysian government has issued travel advisory to KIV all non essential travelling to the PI. I think you should listen to your government and stay away until things cool down.

I am a Malaysian based in Singapore so I would not know about any travel advisory issued in my homeland. Thanks for the alert. Guess I'll have to change my itinery to LOS or INA for the time being.
