I know of the travel routes you talked about but the concern is that the situation is very unpredictable as you will have to waste a lot of time and money and may come out fruitless.

I believe bro sohbuckkong ever made all his way from Tachilek and was told by authorities the furthest that he can travel is to Kengtung and was refused to proceed furthur to Mongla due to skirmishes.

My conclusion is that the best and more predictable/time saving method to enter Shan State is via Yunnan, China.

Yes, about 1.5 to 2yrs ago, my friend and I travelled to Chiang Rai airport, then took a cab to maesai. We then crossed the bridge to enter tachilek. At Myanmar immigration, d immigration don't allow us to go kentiong or mongla because of fighting in d Shan state. The immigration hold our passport and issue us a white card. We also paid the entry tax.

When we entered tachilek, I tried my luck to take a bus to kengtung but d bus conductor don't allow us to board d bus after seeing our white card which state that we were allowed to stay in tachilek only.

So finally we stayed one night in tachilek and go back to Chiang Rai d next day.

Nothing much in tachilek. We did roam d streets in tachilek at night but it was quite quiet everywhere. We did saw a handful of small joints. These joints r just like a small shop with about 6-7 ladies sitting inside. We went in and ask for st, all d shops say don't hv st, only will accompany us sing song. Obviously they were being too cautious, afraid we were govt agents.

Tachilek was very quiet at night.

Nice job bro. Eagerly waiting for yr full report especially to d casino and to the travel between muse to ruilli. I doubt foreigners are allowed officially from muse to ruilli.

just to update some FR as i was in yangon last week .

went for 4days 3 nights

day 1
went to The ONe KTV with 3 friends .
room charge 1hr is sgd15
1 bottle liquor and 6 bottle beer
damage sgd 300
exclude tips . giving abt sgd 3-5 bucks per waiter
about 3- 5
gals tips to give each sgd 30 . not really keen to give more but they asking to give another sgd10 to 20 .
reject their request . cos most of the gals dont really can go out .
i leave about 12 plus . well maybe their timing still not allow to leave .
hmmm... after that went to sedona bar , choose a gal for short time
charge me sgd 100 per shot ...
no choice second brother very tiko hence whack and sleep
so so service .

day 2
went to apple ktv and bar
quite a distance but not bad . can go by grab .
went with 2 friends
order 1 bottle n 6 bottles in ktv
everything include and i spend usd100 exclue waiter tips .


choose the gals from the bar . prepare many small money . like 1000kyat = sgd1 . few waitres or security will follow u when u go out or go to ktv . tip them abt sgd2 . around 3-4 pax will follow u .
lucky to get a U student from bar .
there is flower fashion show .choose the gal for overnight sgd120 .
but noramlly they stay til 6am and left

not bad for day 2 , cos got gfe and my gal play and drink with me in ktv .

day 3
went with a friend ( he never call cos he is a local ) to apple bar
well , the group of gals are not really good comapre to day 2 .
dont know why day 2 which is wednesday have many chio babes while thursday many the fashion show gals . prefer free lance more pretty
cos fashion show gals those pretty one everyday get f by customers

stay there for 1.5 hrs to watch the show choose a gal but in the end she reject me .. dont know why like that also can .
in the end , choose a tall lady from fashion show .
bring her back .

no service . not really good . smelly pussy . whack 1 time .sleep and morning 6am she left .
