So means what? Will still keep in touch? Message her on her birthday/christmas/new year/ cny? Can still meet up for meals occasionally? What is the new normal?

My friend got a divorce after the wife said she no longer wants kids. After the wedding then changed her mind to be more career focused. Before the wedding say can have 2 kids. He wants kids.

Doesn't mean that she is a terrible person right? They still keep in touch as friends. His current wife knows and accepts as long as he informs her beforehand.
