Yes, I got the room first and then msg the number to the girl. But if they wanted to check on your companion, they would have still inform you that if you have a guest, the guest will need to register also. When my girl arrived, she did not mention anything about being asked.

I think this asking for 2 ICs is only applying for certain branches and not across all H81s.

Any 2 IC/3 IC procedure will be started by H81 higher management and our wishes count for nothing. If they are really starting such a policy targeted at city/red light district budget hotels, telling or not telling the branch does zilch.

Conversely, telling us the branch you went to can assist us to not suffer from a terminal case of "got gal no room"-sis because the gal with us is not a Singapore/PR and she is afraid of the Border Policemen.

Besides come on, WHY TWO IC? The rules stated that the room can hold up to 2 more people, so why are they ASSUMING only two people are going to have fun? I could be booking a 3P session later or arranging a whole night hotwife session, so what if i give u two ic and then later got lots more come anyway?

As far as what i know you cannot even book a room for 2hours in the first place if you cant produce 2 identity passes or passport and what not.

I saw the guy checking the dates of customs chops so i suppose it is the overstayers things...

Particulars of guests required.
27. --(1) The hotel licensee shall require every guest seeking accommodation in the hotel to furnish the following particulars:

(a) his full name;

(b) particulars of any identity card, passport or other travel document issued to him;

(c) the place whence he arrived and his address there;

(d) the probable duration of his stay and his intended destination;

(e) his occupation and place of employment;

(f) his nationality; and

(g) the hour and date of his arrival.

(2) Every guest shall furnish the particulars in paragraph (1) when required to do so by the licensee.

All guests to be registered.
28. --(1) The particulars prescribed in regulation 27 shall be entered forthwith before the guest occupies a room in a hotel in a register to be provided by the licensee or hotel clerk, or by the guest if he so desires, and in either case the entry shall be signed by the guest or, should he be unable to write, authenticated by his right thumb print except that in the case of a tourist hotel the particulars prescribed under regulation 27 shall be entered in a guest card approved by the Board, as soon as may be after the guest has occupied a room. Such entry shall be signed by the guest or authenticated by his right thumb print.

(2) On the departure of such guest the licensee shall record against the entry the hour and the date of his departure.

(3) No licensee, hotel clerk or guest shall enter or cause to be entered in the register or guest card any particulars which he knows or could by the exercise of reasonable diligence have ascertained to be false.


Accommodation.
32. --(1) Not more than one adult shall be accommodated in a single room.

(2) In a double room not more than two adults may be accommodated, except that in the case of a family occupying a double room two adults and two children under 16 years of age may be allowed to occupy the room.

If H81 really insist on both the ICs to check in then their biz might suffer in the long run. Besides those who brings FLs for their tryst, we know there are those who are locals but chose the hotel for their secret rendezvous or EMAs. For such things, normally the guy will be the one checking in but if they insist on the ladies IC too, due to the nature of the affair, these ladies would rather not check in.

Also at no point have they ever asked me what job do i hold and where do i work at. Can their asses be sued now?

Does any hotel in singapore even have the balls to ask "Sir, you work where and work as what ah?"
Besides what is the Legal Definition of Accomodation according to that law/act/policy/legalese? If i bring a baby/child in for the purposes of nursing or other matters, is it counted as Accomodation?

How then do you define family then? I dont have to be married to whoever gave birth to the child, nor do i have to have a female partner along with the child, i could be a single dad and proud of it.

these are the rules that they set but I dun think any hotel follows. Guess if no one complain then they are ok. The golden rule of SAF applies even in daily life. You can do any thing but just dun get caught.


STANDARDS OF HYGIENE
Size of rooms.
31. --(1) No rooms which are below ground level shall be used for the accommodation of guests and all rooms used for the accommodation of guests shall have a minimum floor area of 11 square metres.

(2) A double room shall have a minimum floor area of 14.5 square metres.

They also got a rule rooms' floor area must be at least 11 sqm, and for double room, it must be at least 14.5sqm. I doubt how many rooms in H81 and hotel F can pass this rule.

I don't think that it is something that they initiated on their own. Would obviously hurt their bottom line, esp the branch at kovan. I think they received instructions to do it or else from some regulation board. But curious on why this 2 or is there more that requires 2 ic ?
