You better see a doctor. There is no shame in admitting depression. It can be caused by chemical imbalance in the brain. I've gone through it. Had to go under anti-depressants for a year. hii botak, i think that u should seek some help, maybe naturally psychologically, u are abit weaker, depression occur when people think of the same thing too much again and again, sooner or later they start to have negative thought. i would advice u to seek professional help, or alternatively, try not to think the same thing again and again, try to do other activity like jogging etc and not drink alcohol so much cheers and gd luck

TS, you misunderstand me. By making new friends, I don't mean mere acquaintances that only just "hi and bye". Of course a deeper bond has to be forged! You may be right in needing only a few true friends, but new friends can bring new directions and purpose to you.

Same for interest groups. What I meant, was for you to look for people from various interest groups, preferably those that are not from your circles.

Lastly, you could do what you wish if you are not restrained by time, health, money and legal constraints. Serious.

firstly I have people who do stand up for me in times of need, did, done and will again. that's my faith.
