Are you kidding? I've insulted your country? I've summed up the key policy of the PAP in the last five decades. I possibly should have phrased it differently (see my response in the other thread), but this doesn't change the key message: Singapore needs (and wants! - although pressures are rising) foreigners. Not because it would be inferior but because it's small.

Thanks. Yes, this is by and large what I was trying to say and I would have made it more clear if I was able to edit my post.

I'm not trying to lead anyone on. I've been dating girls with the intention of spending the rest of my life with them before and this always led to problems and different expectations. I thought to try it differently for once, to focus on the fun and joy you can have with someone first and then gradually move towards a more serious relationship if this is what both sides want. If not, it can be kept being casual.
