Hi i've gone through the same feelings as you before. As your condom was intact during sexual intercourse, you should not worry at all about contracting hiv. The virus is unable to pass through a latex condom. Oil-based lubricants can cause condoms to break more easily but will not create microscopic holes in them. FYI, a tiny tear in a condom will cause it to snap instantly such that it is obvious. If you are still worried, you can ask the hiv experts on these two websites: http://forums.poz.com and http://www.medhelp.org

I understand how you feel bro. As for me, i can spend nights worrying after a commercial sex session even if the condom didn't break. I guess this sense of paranoia is all in the mind. If you're going to spend hours worrying after each comm xxx session, the best is to avoid it completely or at keep the number of sessions to a low level.

Agree with you bro. The problem with condoms is that theres a possibility that they might break (due to friction) or slip out of the penis during vaginal/oral/anal intercourse. When these scenarios occur, there is potential brief exposure to bodily fluids containing stds and hiv. This is precisely why condoms are never 100% safe. If your condom remains intact on your penis throughout the act, you will not be infected with hiv.

To bro TS as well, sometimes it is scary because the juices from the vagina (or lube leaking out from the vagina) can get absorbed by your skin transdermally. Or if there is a small cut or tear (by teeth or stretched the skin while HJ....) all these add risk to diseases, and not just HIV.

Please wait for 2 months or so and get tested. Then again 3 months after that.

No they are not safe. Various scientific studies have shown that proper use of the condom can provide anything from 60% to 95% reduction in risk of HIV transmission. And the infections were NOT always due to condom failures. The most often quoted study involved more than 3000 HIV 1 sero-discordant couples. Self reported use of the condom reduced the risk of HIV transmission by 78% per sex act. The US CDC’s condom report published in the year 2000 estimated that consistent and correct condom use reduced the risk of HIV transmission by 85%.
