I don't like Balestier, most of the time parking problem.
China town 81 is more of a tourist hotel, $30 2 hour. Park at china town point.
Last time there, counter almost give me ground floor room, how to do it with all the tourist noise checking in/out. I requested for upstairs but had to wait 15 mins for room to be available.
Bencoolen $30 2 hour, parking isCBD charges,
Lavender $20 2 hours is my favourite but always crowded and got to wait for rooms.

The mirror room is a room with mirrors on all 4 walls and ceiling, can be quite thrilling for first timers. Can't remember which H81 has it, any bros want to help, Don know Fragrance got same thing or not.

The $10 registration at H81 is to reduce the hassle of paying and collecting the $20 deposit, with Registration, you can just drop the keys and go when done. Most H81 now have Condom vending machine, a good thing as you don have to be embarrassed about asking the counter.

I am not familiar with Fragrance Hotel, so sorry, no details, maybe next time.


I notice that in the month of march and april, most of the hotel business v good, always got to wait. Maybe because of the raids at HC and pubs during that period, so people switch to Hotel activities.

If I remember correctly, its the Hotel 81 at Joo Chiat nearer the Geylang Road side - the one with period externals. Used to be my favourite as away from the bustle and parking available in the multi-storey CP nearby. Last used the place almost 3 years ago but I think the room has only mirrors on one wall - alongside the double bed. Its on the ground floor I think. Mebbe other brudders who have visited more recently can confirm/correct.

The one I went to really has mirrors on all 4 walls.
Its in one of the lorong 8 to 28 in Geylang, sorry, can't remember which one.
My other friend PRC girl don't like to go there because scared police spot check so stop going there after that.

$30 per 2 hrs, any extension will be charged at $10 per hour.
Weekdays overnight = $79, $89 on weekends, $99 for the deluxe rooms.

Sorry to correct you, the only one with 4 walls and ceiling with mirrors is H81-Star at Lor 18 on the second level number is 6748 8181...
The rest of the braches mostly only with 2 sides on wall...
As for Frangrance Hotel dun think they got mirrors room...

H81 more and more branches coming with LCD TV...

Mostly sunday U will get those goodies from the recept
