Yes, something is Fishy BUT the point of focus is NOT about her doing anything behind my back because she is just a colleague, that's all.

The point of focus is about the ringing tone while she is overseas and that spell potential tapping of her phone device and that worries her.

Please don't overthink...
Very simple case without a tint of doing anything wrong at anybody's back.
