The victim was a Taiwanese girl who join SIA and on her 1st flight to USA.
The accused was a senior steward from her same flight. The entire flight crew was partying the night before and the victim never turn up for the return flight to Singapore. Her body was found stuffed inside her hotel room cupboard and autopsy revealed she was raped and murdered. FBI investigations traced the suspect to the accused and he was extradited to USA for trial and found guilty. I think he is still inside US prison.

He was released many years ago cos he was locked up for a short time n nt in a maximum security prison which tells you a lot. Meaning he's nt in there for rape-murder.because even in California, they're not so lax for murderers.
