Why confidentality unless the minister knows there are more than meet the eyes? Isnt it contradicting when they know all along these are just a bistro in disguise? Why it is just a bistro, why must offer such confidentality swab test unless govt already knows all along something is going on behind the doors.

Govt knows what they used to operate as from the police raids etc. But the owners could easily say and show they re model like teo Heng, let ppl come and eat and work only. Then after few weeks of checks by sda or police they go back to offering customers some hostesses to come and play game with them etc. It’s a cat and mouse game. Govt also can’t shut them down unless catch them in the act

Politically inconvenient for them to admit they know what's actually happening behind closed doors.

It would make them look horrible because they closed down the common citizenry's access to sexual vice at Geylang down at the beginning of the pandemic because of public health reasons, but then barely a few months after CB ended last year KTVs for rich Roberts could reopen as barely-disguised "bistros" and all the usual hostess hanky panky still available. And often for even higher prices too.

i don't think it is about hiding the fact that they allow these establishments to apply and reoperate with a F&B outlet. afterall, ktv, bars, clubs (legit ones like zouk) are all categorised under same category. to allow zouk to change business model and not allow ktv to is inconsistent to any policies they put out there.

as for confidentiality, since when did any personal info got out from people who went swab or is tested positive. all are given a unique case number. to announce it will be confidential, i think is to keep the family fabric together. don't forget, our govt alws like to kaypoh our family matters. the last thing they want is to see many families break up bcos of this, and feminist or pro-family group like AWARE start asking question.

of course have to be serious. this is a no fun matter. the number of infected cases have been reducing.. to single digit. then "suddenly" pop up this potentially could-be huge cluster.

garment has said those ktv operator n the hostess will be delta with by the police. the customers will be delta with by MOH. so the garment will handle this very seriously.

just hope dun spread to those innocent people like the family members (parents, wife, kids) and friends of those infected person.

My personal advise would be to stop all cheonging activities. Obviously for the past 2 weeks Cheongster highly kana covid from KTV and most will go cheong massage, FL done 1,2,3,local putting everyone at risk. Even normal IPL service or JG services from this forum are all considered high risk…

The sooner we control this covid, the safer and faster everyone can go back to cheonging safer. We all must play our part. Just my 2 cents.
