Yeah, my family will be having steamboat for our reunion dinner this CNY.

This CNY I need to stay at home and babysit my little princess as it is not so convenient to bring her along if we travel overseas..

Hence I will be inviting my friends to my place during the CNY.

My brother offer you a chance to have reunion dinner is like treating u As a family member knowing u have just return home not to long ago. You still ask for Ang Pow. As I read contract laws, let me loosely define the components

Offer- eg bro offer you a close door once a year family get together meal.

Consideration : reunion meal with love ones, precious princess included.

Acceptance - in this case a yes or no will suffice.

What is the recourse to the offer ? A counter offer like after eighth day visit, in which case my bro still need to deliberate to accept.

What I am saying is this ( again opinion mine, so don't zap me) : let your yes be yes and your no be no.
