It is always good to welcome Benitez back to Anfield. However there will be no emotion when the game starts.

Great result, well played!
Liverpool comfortably notched up their 10th win in 12 games to leapfrog Manchester United back into second place once again  Pressure on Utd(Monday night) and Chelsea tonight. Karius needs a special mention as thats what we have been lacking. How many times do teams have 1 shot and have 1 goal?! He doesn't save that and we go in at half time 1 a piece. I've given Karius loads of grief in here, so he gets my applause today We really have become a hell of a lot more solid recently!! Lovely to see the effect Virgil (and now Karius) has had on our team. Lovren looked very comfortable last night. Thought the Ox was really good as well! Some stats to end off: That goal by Salah takes him to joint-top of the Premier League scoring charts with Harry Kane. 24 each. Sadio Mané's goal was the 200th that Liverpool have scored in the Premier League under Jürgen Klopp. Since he was appointed, only Man City (214) have scored more often in the competition.

Another 3 points and the second place should be 50% ours when we beat Man Utd.
Lascelles should have seen a red card and it does not matter if it was or was not a penalty. I expect Klopp to rest Salah and Firmino for the Champions League. Now is the time for others to step up and prove their worth or leave the club.
