Yup, right on the money. Which is why I never f**k them at the bar but wait until I get back to hotel. Only time I will let them suck me is at the Santos bars. Those bars are too small and not worth the police effort to raid them, they are after much bigger fishes in the ocean. But after all the raids I would now also shy away from getting a BJ there just to be sure, best to take them back to hotel 1st.

I was caught in a raid last year and just told them I was having a cold beer and they let me go after about 2 hrs.

**NEVER, NEVER offer a bribe** to any police during any raids hoping for a quick release. If an official monitoring everything saw this then they can now charge you with a crime of bribing. Whereas having a beer is NOT a criminal offense.

Correct, AC is the best one stop shopping in PI and also cheap.
Manila would be my next thought as many bars also door to door in Makati but only difference is that its not cheap compare to AC, but quality is higher though.

And PT2: yes, never offer a bribe .. as I learnt the tough way when I thought I can buy my way in Manila airport, when I was harassed by Customs .. there is nothing insulting as offering to 'settle' Customs officers, and out of town police people .. especially when the latter is there to score points in the number of victims rescued ..

As I understand, in this raid, the first time they were stupid to pick up foreigners, and I believe they were more shitting their pants when they realised the mistake, than the foreigners held .. !!!

The thing is, the foreigners only see not even 10% of the flesh trade in Philippines .. the majority of the market, catering to the locals, including those massive racket for call center girls and all .. are beyond the foreigners' reach, and sort of "NOT DONE" thing, like the casas .. where girls get screwed for 500 peso .. and ... more than once, I have heard horror stories of real human trafficking victims, where the family sells the girls

I took one visit to a Casa, in Manila, and I am not ashamed to say I was terrified and wanted to get out .. and if I had the chance, I would have done what happens in the movies, burn the place down - forget the collateral damage .. it was like a dorm and about a dozen girls, and the mummy walked them out .. and they were like absolute toys .. and I could bet that most, if not all, where loaded in Shabu .. scary ..

And the trafficker hold them in dumps, and sometime base them on trawlers, and use them to service the off-shore fishing boats, and the girls don't even see sunlight ..unlike the AC girls, and a lot of FL who come to Singapore, who are on their own will and know the score before signing up .. and then decide to enlist for full time ..

Ah, sorry, such horrible and inhuman tragedy can't exist, when the foreigners are the bad people, and the natives are always do-gooders ..

Ranting acceptable at this point as we are all upset that our AC playground has been invaded and placed under a police state.

Never been to any Casa in Manila so can't compare but have been to 2 Casa when I visited Cebu last. The Casa there mainly cater to locals but didn't spot any gals high on drugs although some may have been. Only reason I didn't choose any was that they were not very attractive compare to those working at the bars.
