Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
2-2 might not be the most disastrous of results but it’s heartbreaking to witness a draw after leading 2-0. As many said we are back to our old bad habit - panic defending n cannot hold on to a lead. Both goals are fr goalmouth scrambles. All about concentration. Winning last night game would have given us breathing space luxury against Stoke next week. Win that and top 4 would be confirmed. We would also not have another tense outing at Chelsea on the 6 May. Of course it’s not the end of the world. Juz that we have to face more unnecessary distractions, stress, tension which we might well have avoided. Hope our beloved team will pull thru this testing period.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I watched the match.
Liverpool was not over confident but rather their heart was not in the game. It was quite a boring game despite 4 goals. Pool played cautiously, seemed to have the intention to finish off the game quickly n get away w/o injuries. Klavan and Gomez dun look convincing. Lovren's coming on as a sub was supposed to tighten the defence but alas it did not work out.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Many players did not play with purpose. Especially players like Moreno and Gomez were very poor including Klavan.
Klopp needs to add quality next season or the same problem will happen. We still need a good goalkeeper and center back as well as a rock solid midfielder. Focus on the game with Roma because it will be difficult. We need to use the home advantage and take the lead to Rome. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Yes indeed, congratulations to Salah, fully deserved this award
He has had a phenomenal season which has not yet ended. 3 games left to surpass Shearer, Cristiano and Suarez's joint top EPL scorer record and at least 5 games left(hopefully 6!!) to equal and/or surpass Rush's most goals scored in a season in a Reds shirt. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Quote:
Roma has a world class GK in Alisson; solid back line; talented strong midfield; and a wily goal poacher in Dezko upfront. Not forgetting an astute tactician in Di Francesco, their manager. They don't concede many goals and also seem to sneak in a goal or two in away matches. Its going to be an interesting tactical battle between Klopp and Di Francesco, because I don't think Roma is going to play from the back, which suits Liverpool's style of high counter press game. Instead their defence shall probably sit deep, crowd the midfield and play high balls to Dezko. Naturally also make full use of dead ball/set piece situations as well. So Liverpool have to be patient, disciplined, organised, tough, resilient and clinical. I am confident our fab front 3 will perform, so the concern now is directed at our midfield, defense and GK to get it right. Tbh i would even be ok with 0-0 and happy with 1-0 tomorrow night, because it is vital for us not to concede an away goal in this tricky tie. Anything more would be bonus. Also please no unnecessary cards and no injuries as well. Fingers crossed all goes well at Anfield tomorrow night. Come on you Reds |

It will be appalling if the FA does not take any action against Ahmed Hegazi.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
No disrespect to SG but he should just shut up regarding anything about the first team . He is NOT the manager for the first team and he should just concentrate on his U18 team . Having said that I hope that Liverpool should not underestimate Roma as Roma had beaten Barcelorna in the quarterfinals . Keeping fingers crossed .
