sorry sir...how often the lower income change or buy car then? my logic as stated is that since the lower income spend mostly on basic commodities, the price hike should be the least impact...and this is just my layman logic...again let me stress...I MAY BE WRONG.

U r rite with the no. but dun 4get how much few cents here n there mean 2 lower income grp. U can choose not 2 chg ur car or rather not so often if the 7% gst is a concern but u cnot say u dun buy tat packet of rice becoz of higher gst...

Somebody suggested to exempt tat 2% hike on essential goods but it was turn down with reason being the rich will buy rice too. C'mon r the garment trying 2 tell us jus becoz of 2% exemption on rice, those rich ppl will buy 2-3 tons of rice everytime they shop? Alamak... think i nid another rocket scientist again... Haizz.
