My last visit to The Villa G-Club was in Feb 2014 when it just opened.
How time flies!
Wow good to hear the place is going on strong.
The reason why the business is good is because the clientele are from the defunct Caribbean and the old The Resort members.
I will not be surprise if I bump into those Thai Ah Pa or Ah Hia regulars from donkey years ago.
Frankly speaking I always have more fun at the G-Clubs in Meng Jai than the ones in Sukhumvit.
Those were the good old fun days indeed.

Each individual's way of spending is different.
If I spend like you I long ago bankrupt liao.
G-Club membership fee (bottles or lady drink credits) is not the killer part.
You must know how to control the bill.
If you behave like a sucker then you'll be treated as one.
Coyote or PR ask you order this or that so you chin chai agree because guys want face mah.
Must learn how to say no and thick skin a bit.
Those PRs who like to any how order things straight away cut her off from the clock and change another one.
Reason why your bill is chalked up is due to shots, food and shisha.

I even went to attend Suthep rally at another location which occupied a bigger area to look see. 5555. The main difference is that location got entertainment band on stage and vendors trying to sell thing at the closed roads.

It's as exactly what you've described because I was at Asok rally in Feb 2014.
Whole atmosphere more like a carnival.
I did not go to the Suthep rally.
Some areas very "hot zone" and watch out for stray bullets from snipers!
During those protests quite a few people dead from explosions and gun shots!
