Singapore is just too expensive to operate the kind of cafes in VN. Not meaning the rental of these cafes are cheap. These cafe operates in 3-4 storey houses and the space can range from 10k sq feet and above. But the labour cost is cheaper. Most bigger cafes has 40-50 staff.

Just compare the labour cost and rental cost, and you will know why

Cafes in Saigon are really a nice place to hang out or fishing. My fav is Cafe Sao (Star)

Eye contact will do..... But simple Vn talk will help much.....

Only wonder how the local managed to order 1 drink and sit the whole day there( Free refill of tea) Keke.....

today newpaper reported that some VN gals in SG are soliciting sex even though they have SG BG.

I have a similar experience in VN too when I met a VN gal kept by a SG BF. So, it is not surprsing such cases arise.

But what is sad is the SG guy has to wear a cookoo hat. I would like to apologise to that poor chap.

I guess it will depend on where the Singaporean man has met the Vietnamese lady. most of the time, these Singaporean man either met these vietnamese lady in Joo Chiat bars or in bars in Saigon. These man know from the start that these gals earned a living thru' providing sexual services.

Most of these gals provide for their whole family in province. Their family members are too lazy to work and just wait at home for these gals to bring money back. The only well paid job that these lesser educated gal can get is to `spread their legs' When they have singaporean bf, they will expect their singaporean bf to provide for them and their family. Most of these Singaporean bfs will not want to provide for the gal's family. So when the gal's family starts to grumble and demands money from the gal, the gal will have to resort to their old trade.

i'm going to hcmc this week. have read so much abt Volcano and the cafes in hcmc. can't wait to try.

just some questions i hope you seniors can help me with:-

1) all these references to D1, D2 etc. how do i find out where is where? i've got myself a map of hcmc from the internet but cannot find leh....

2) will be staying at sofitel plaza, how do i get to the happenning places from there?

3) other than volcano, any other happenning places that you would recommend a newbie to check out?

Just thought of contributing some massage experiences in HCMC during my 2 nights stay before leaving for BKK. Was at HCMC last Sunday (24/09) and it was first time there. 1st impression was that it's not really a developed city but them was still ok. Motorbikes was zooming here and there and crossing the roads was a big problem and had to stand by a local and cross the road as follows. I stayed @ Liberty 4 in district 1.

.: Massage 01 :.
Location: Massage Vien Dong @ Vien Dong Hotel.
Address: 275A Pham Ngu Lao Street. District 1. (2nd Floor).
Charges: (Massage) 80,000 VND / Hr
(HJ) 150,000 VND after negotiating from 300,000 VND.
Facilities: Hot & Cold Pool / Sauna / Steam / TV Room (Egypt-style).
Ladies: Saw several ladies who is probably not over 23 years old in very short skirts. Most of them are quite pretty and fair-skinned. Was attended by a gal called Ling (No.10 if I am not wrong). Had a big problem communicating because I don't speak any Viet and she can't speak any English/Chinese. But after some effort, manage to figure out that she is 19 years old and her name was Ling. She's quite cute and her skin is really fair. And she's cheeky too. Always attack my private parts during the massage and she kept doing so as she could sense that I was enjoying it... After about 20 mins, she pointed at my didi and through body language, could understand that she wanted to know if I wanted a HJ. - Ladies: Actually, went to this place twice during my stay. Vien Dong was just beside my hotel but decided not to go because the place is quite packed. Had 2 nice encounters and the process is rather similar to the 1st one so I will just skip the description. The gals are most pretty and young. Can say that they have done a good QC job. *Thumbs Up*!!! Paid 150,000 VND & 200,000 VND respectively for my massage at the hotel.

** Overall Conclusion **
- Pros: Pricing wise is cheap. The QC there is good and mostly are pretty & young gals. The gals are friendly. The warm & shiok feeling (when the gals pull down 1/2 of your shorts and sit on your 1/2 exposed butt) is simply unforgettable!!!
- Cons: Communication problem if you can't speak Viet. The shorts inside their skirt make auto roaming not so shiok. Only mainly HJ is provided, not much other options.

"D" refers to the district. Different districts in HCMC can have the same road name. MAke sure that when you write your address down to also write the Ditrict. If you dont see the "D" the viet equivalent is "QUAN". BTW, Sofitel is located in District 1. Sofitel is not "Ger Friendly"

How to get from Sofitel to the happening places is either by walking or by taking a cab. Ask the doorman to help you tell the cab driver where you want to go.

I am not senior in HCMC but just went there hope my info can help u..

1st u have to check if yr hotel is "gal friendly" anot? That means can bring gals back without paying extra $..Some hotel dont even allow u to bring gals back! I will not suggest Volcano if u are looking for WLs, Gossip will be a better place is "famous" for such purpose Volcano is more for "viewing" as most of the gals are there with guys...Abit hard to "fish" unless u are like our dear bros who stay in HCMC for like months or years
Map is not really needed there...Taxi fare is really damn cheap liao..$1.20sgd to $2.00sgd nia....Anyway the ppl there dont really walk much..they ride everywhere they go...

Actually, you can try to bring your gal back to hotel. Some hotels may inform you that Viet gals are not supposed to be staying together with a foreigner unless you are legally married. They will tell you that your gal will need to stay in 'another room' for the night. However, this 'another room' may not seem to be the case. You are just paying extra of about USD 10-20 for 'another room' for your gal but in fact you, your gal & the recept know that your gal will be sleeping with you together.

However, some hotels are really strict on their policies... So be mentally prepared.

P/S: My friend brought a KTV gal back to Hotel and was charged additional USD 10/night for the 'another room'. We stayed @ Liberty 4.
