Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
The Reds are out of another domestic cup and Ah Klopp barren streak of not winning sliverware with Liverpool continues unabated. It will 4 years and counting come October 2019 and "something special" is not a trophy. Ah Klopp better go all out and try to win the League title now since the Reds have a very good start so far in the season and are leading the title race with a easier on paper run-in to May, i think.

On the upside, can now see lesser of Mignolet, Moreno this season and hopefully these 2 clowns will hanker for a move away from Anfield. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We played a team of young and fringe players and lost 2-1 to a basically full strength Wolves team.
It’s obvious what our priorities are. On a positive note, gather the young lad Ki Jana looked pretty good and Fabinho was probably our best player on the night in a CB position, not his usual DM role. Big big worry now though is our Injury List!! Seems like even VVD is carrying a knock It's either going to make or break our season Anyways, roll on Brighton next on Saturday. We need to get back to winning ways fast!! P. S. Naby Keita still underwhelming. Clearly lacks confidence. Catch 22 situation for Klopp. |

Would rather have Pool give Emre Can a better contract to keep him than let him go on free. Anytime Ah Can is better than Keita. Got this feeling Pool will not make it again this time for the Epl title.. Mcity is simply too good! |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We reacted from losing to City, that is the only thing that matters.
As far as the game went, thought we handled it brilliantly. Controlled the game from the beginning and apart from an excellent Fabinho block, gave Brighton nothing. We had our chance and took it, kept them out and head home 7 points clear and didn’t get out of 2nd gear. Back four was excellent. Especially Alexander-Arnold who didn’t look like he could move the first 20 minutes. Took care of business. Excellent result. No injuries to the back 4 and 3 points with another clean sheet. Brighton is a very difficult place to go. They had lost to Chelsea and Spurs only before today.. massive win this. We move on to Palace next. BELIEVE P. S. We haven’t dropped a single point to a club outside the big six thus far this season!! Long may this continue!! |

Fabinho played well at centre half. Trent played on despite injury. Liverpool 75% possession and Brighton refused to play ball. Great penalty by Salah.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Post match press conference by Klopp
On whether the performance was secondary to the result… I faced these questions at the beginning of the season pretty often. We had results and people obviously thought the difference between the City game last year in the Champions League, or the Roma home game, was too big. That’s absolutely OK but we are not the Harlem Globetrotters, we have to deliver results. For that, we need to perform. The performance was good. It was not the best performance of the season in a few departments but I would say it was the most mature performance of the season. It’s so important. On good days, everybody can win football games. On an average day, not a lot of teams can win football games. On a bad day, only a few can win football games. Today was not a bad day but it was a difficult day for us. It was a difficult game because Brighton are doing really well. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I think I will write off Spurs as a title contender. I don't see how they will come back to compete for the league title. Their squad is already quite thin on numbers. Now Son will be away for up to a month. Harry Kane seems to be injured. Even their midfielder Sissoko may be injured. They still have 4 matches to play in Jan and their home form is dodgy.
Hopefully Wolves can bring us a present tonight.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Refereeing is a joke in the Premier league
How is one a yellow and one a red.... it’s like a game of spot the difference! I can accept that Boly deserves a red. As soon as Kompany’s tackle is accepted as worse, AND he was the last defender!! Kompany on Salah worse than Boly's tackle on Silva. ..only one was deemed a red! No consistency!! Sorry but Boly won the ball there against Silva... Kompany on Salah was worse than that!!! |
