Hey Bro.sgsnipe, I'm not offended by your words in anyway, not at all... Don't worry! In fact, it is quite true that I'm starting to get abit bored with the entertainment stuff in Thailand but I never get bored with the always fun-loving and friendly Thai gals. Perhaps my monthly trips down to the Land of Smiles is causing this kind of effect. For example, during my last trip @ BKK last week, I went down to Poseidon every night. But I did not venture to the 2nd (Fish-Tank) and 3rd (Modeling) floor. Instead, I went straight to the KTV on the 1st floor just to have some Singha, live band performance and TCSS with the dancers & hostesses. Not looking for a good bonk but looking for a good TCSS companion to TCSS with me till I feel sleepy and get back to the hotel for a good sleep.

Your general observation are pretty accurate. This had always been the case with the local people perception too. The most fierce are the central....but they are also know to be the most hard working.

It also important to know that often alot of the girl that are discussed in this forum are from some what related to the trade, and represent a very small minority group specific to the industry. Also a lot of the ladies too also take liberty with foreigner, mostly as foreigner are not as familar with the local cultures and thus they think they can get away with been rude. Even with these so call working ladies, they change their tone fairly quickly around the local people particularly with the opposite sex, becoming much more polite. Trust me I know .

On language: - Vietnamese is a tonal langauge, and thus if your girl sms you without all the tonal marking, most people can pretty much figure out what she trying to say, but often it sometimes can be read and mean diffenrently with all the tonal marking.

Different region of Vietnam have different accent for the same langauge, with some minor slang sort of type for the various region. Even with local people a southerner can find it hard to understand some one from the north, or central region..let alone foreigner. The accent is fairly disticntive to the 3 main region.

eerr....the "+++" is the automatic "censorship" by the forum for the alphabets " t,o and k" when they are used to form the word "t o k"....so that is why when you type t.o.kyo hotel in the normal way it appears like +++yo

last night was at a "KTV"....haiz....Friend ordered JW Black brought in 2 bottles of fake JW Black consecuetively....haiz....LPPL...change to Gold Label....told the manageress about it....so managed to get buy 2+1 free....finished the first bottle than they brought in the remaining 2 bottles....and guess wat...one of them was also fake....haiz...just so happened that the manageress was there and showed her the bottle.....only then did she beleived us.....

She brought the fake bottle out and got it changed....and the CB waiter went to walk one round of the KTV and came back to give us the same bottle.....haiz...told the gers serving us and she told us but its a free bottle...nearly want to walk out liao......my frend told her...nevermind....just give us a card for the 3rd bottle and we will come back some other day......

for you guys who like to open bottles....beware of fakes...especially JW, Chivas, Remy martin & Hennesy

I go there often only because it is near my place. And it is frequented mainly by Taiwanese and locals. Massage is good too, as the girls are trained well for massage. And for the KTV there too, visited by Taiwanese, Hong Kongers, Singaporeans and Malaysians.

Now I am avoiding the place, because the girl that I just dumped is still working there.

Generally I try to visit MPs with girls trained on massage by Taiwanese or Hong Kongers. As I avoid MPs which girls only "touch" on massage and not well trained.

Is it the case for most places in HCMC? I am more a Chivas person. I went Volcano 2 days ago. Got sick with drinking beer. So I order Chivas by glasses. Didnt get to see where they pour from, as they went dont know where to get my drink. Drank the first glass, tasted damn diluted and too light in color. Dont believe, tried another glass, same thing. Gave up and order JW green label by glass. Same case again, dont know where they pour from. Have a soapy and diluted taste.

Does Vietnam tax alot on alcohol? I went Coop Supermart to take alook at the prices before, not really that expensive. Why do these joints bring in fake liquor when they are already charging double or triple the price? And do they have fake Gin, Vodka too?

Think next time I have to order those drinks that I can see from the bar counter. And when I am back I will order a bottle and put there.

eerr....from wat i heard Chivas also have fake ones. ordered Vodka at Volcano (Absolut) also fake.....JW gold at volcano also fake. confirm black label at volcano also fake. some of the other places I go to that i have seen fakes are Gossip, Volcano, Palace, America, a few Bia-Oms, just becareful when ordering...
