Dear All,

Recently i have brought my friends to Patpong as they wanted very much to watch the so called" Tiger Show" which in Thailand it is called PingPong Show.
Well here are some Scams which we have encounter and would like to share will all Bros here so that no ones else will fall into this tricks again.

this is how is how it goes, first we arrival at Patpong via BTS and when we turn right into the soi where the Night market is, we were then guided by 1 guy that offers the PingPong show and told us that the drink is only for 100baht and if we dun like we can come down anytime. As we when up to the 2nd floor, there is a few more Thai guys along the stairs and one guarding the doors. Once we are inside, all the girls will come crowding arround us and asking us to buy them a drink. Please note the drink that you buy for the ladys were only softdrinks.

Well when we are about to leave, as there is really nothing much to see, here comes the nightmare. the Bill was 4800 baht in TOTAL!!!!
the man come and explain to us that there is no such thing as 100baht for show. and charge us 1000baht per person for show which there is nothing to see at all. and our beer change price from 100 to 300baht and the drink for the ladys were also 300baht each! this is a ripe off!!!


i then try to negotiate the bill and managed to bring it down to 3000baht but still it is a F%$%* Scam! The reason i paid them was to avoid any trouble as i strongly believe that those guys that is standing outside are there for a reasons. Anyway i will never want to visit these place again.

hope my encounter will serve as a warning to bros out there. Could anyone advice if there is a correct place in BKK for such show which is not a scam like this.

I just went to Orient yesterday and I must say, I had a great time! I did not know abt this thread before I went so did not know of Visa, Som and Aree. But i had this gal Jejy. No, you didn't short change her, the going rate for all the oil, gel and lotion massage places for a special service is 1,500B plus their usual charge for massage! Also, you don't have to tip her after the special service, 1,500B is sufficient. In fact, I was never asked for a tip after special service from all the gel/lotion massage places that I've visited.

Also, during your next visit, must try Som and VISA!

xdingdong - this happened to my friend and i during our 1st visit to bkk. we were charged about bht10,000 (5,000 each). i'm normally a calm person, but gets ticked off/heated up easily when cheated. even though, we were surrounded by 3 guys and 2 more blocking the exit, i was arguing with them until i was losing my voice. i was pissed and after 20 minutes of arguing, i told them that we'll pay, but will report them to the tourist police. we did just that, as there was a station on patpong. we were refunded the full bht10,000 by the police. looking back it did seem stupid to put up an argument. however, i honestly didn't think we would get hurt b/c we were in patpong and not some remote/isolated part of town.

Mate, this kinda thing happened all the time. Just gotta be really careful coz afterall that is not your area...Once my mates (10 of them) also got into this kinda trouble and the Thai pull out like 20-30 people to surround them...

We're there to have a good time but no get into trouble. Always check before entering...Or dun go at all...Thats my 2cents worth

Also my friends from Hawaii got ripped off at second floor bars in Patpong. They told me about 10 darkskin exThai kickboxers surround them and told them to pay 3,000B for 5 drinks. My friends didn't want to fight or hassle with them so they negotiated and paid only 2,000B. So in Patpong, go to gogo bars only with Kings or Queens name front of their bars. Kings group of bars are safe. But if you're in dire situations like our friends, just negotiate and get the hell out of there. Tourist Police is good for nothing in these situations.

Don't do it in the car because unless you have a leather seats due to possible big mess! Sperm and other juices make permanent stains and the smell is sickening! It's kind of exciting but not worth it!

Make it short as maybe i was just unlucky or watever. Just everyone have differences.

Special usual rate.
Massage not as good as what i got in angel last week. Just the rub and press... not really strong.

Special: Normal
Service: Normal (Normal means not fail)

Sorry that you didn't receive an excellent service from Som. But since you only have one more day left and you want to have a one and only life time experience in Bangkok, go directly to Tulips Massage. Select a young and attractive girl, you might have hard time finding a SYT but keep looking and make a selection. But in my opinion, you'll receive better service from Orient than Angel!
