I'm not sure where you will be staying but take a BTS train to Siam centre where you will find Mah Boon Kong (national stadium station) and Siam Paragon (Siam station) one of biggest basement foodcourt and restaurants.

Good thing we ll be staying at Holiday Inn - Ploenchit Patumwan which is just opp of Siam Square and walking distant to Central World and Platinum Fashion Mall. Hehe....... I ll certainly try out those makan places there.

Change today around noon at Golden mile - 23.96.
Some MCs there ran out of Thai baht. Seem like many Sporean going LOS during the CNY holiday.

If u r talking about Holiday Inn beside Intercon hotel then it is not opp Siam Square but within walking distance to Central and Siam Square.

Yes It's just beside Hotel Intercon. U r right, it's my mistake.

Looking at the google map, it's nearer to Erawan and Central World. It's still quite a walking distant to the Time Square.

If you and your family miss their breakfast of kaya toast,soft egg, nasi lemak and mee siam then head down to Bread Talk (next to supermarket) in the basement of Siam Paragon.

Just came back from Golden Mile. Changed SGD into THB at 23.90. Seems like some of the moneychangers ran out of THB tonight too.

For bros who send money through Western Union, the rate is 23.78 which is very decent, in my opinion.
