Great that most players had a taste of CL matches. 8 changes and still won.

Likes of Nat Philips, Tyler Morton, Neco Williams, Origi, Taki and Tsimikas had a go.

A clean sweep of the group and only the 8th side to have ever done it and the 1st English side to do it

Absolutely incredible!

Morton, Phillips can always say that they went to Milan and won at the San Siro. This group stage obviously couldn't have gone any better and to think it was called the 'Group of Death' .

Come from behind win, winning in a different manner using the whole squad with Woltman & Bradley coming on deep into injury time and they too can say they won at the San Siro. Looks like the Serie A is really crap and Ibra(the Swede!) needs to retire

Also keeps the momentum of our wins going and no injuries from this game and some of the senior players came back from injury and got minutes, not forgetting other key players taking a well earned rest.

In terms of specifics, a few good performances. The Egyptian King and Lord Divock do it again! Williams had a particularly decent game. Even when he went onto the wing he was useful. Morton looks super comfortable with how we play. Imagine starting at the San Siro at his age! Big Nat did Big Nat things and that Cruyff turn of his leaving Ibra(the Swede!) and Kessie in his wake is one for the repeats Taki worked his socks off and Ox played really well. Konate though was pure class and probably motm.

Not the most enjoyable game to watch, but Mo keeps delivering.

No one will want to face a Gerrard side, well organised and very cynical.

Must say Alisson looked dodgy, hope he got that out of his system! Ref was inconsistent. Some of the worst officiating I’ve seen this season. Thought Matip and Robbo were both very good last night!

This title race is going to the end if we can get through January and Afcon we'll be close. It really is a proper 3-horse race. Was concerned about our goals conceded, but Chelsea are now on 11, only 1 behind us. Might come down to who is the fittest and who suffers a key injury.
