eeerrr...not really leh......maybe once a week...or less.....normally only when I have frends in town do I go there.....as far as i know...its the only place that opens till really late....even with the change in the law, most places still close at 12 or 1am.....

BTW...she not from Club 27.....club 27 PR gers dont have that standard...the only that had left long long time ago....got married.....and quit....

Bros, i will be in HCM next week.... intend to bring my viet g/f for a good dinner to celebrate her birthday.

My bro wife suggest to me a few resturants in HCMC for fine dinning

"I give u afew good restaurant, the place i think romantic and the price for 2 person about $100 to 150 depend what food u order

1.Nam An Restaurant:13-17 Dong Khoi street,Dist 1
2.Khai silk res: 251 Dien Bien Phu, ward 7, dist 3
3.Nam Phan : 64 Le Thanh Ton, dist 1
4.Hoi An : 11 Le Thanh Ton, dist 1(this restaurant is vietnamese food and cheaper than another).

But i think the best is Nam An and Khai Silk."

She also mention about a resturant in Hyatt that serve steak and western food.

Any bros have been to these resturants and have any comments or oher suggestions? Thank you.

$100-150(SGD i supposed) for dinner of 2 person in vietnam, even in district 1 is considered expensive. Also depending what you order. To impress your gf, best is not vietnamese food lah. Sheraton, Hyatt and Carevelle all have pretty ok buffet and ala cate food. I prefer Sheration and Hyatt ambience compared to Caravelle. Even big eaters of 2 wont go above SGD150 - unless you get wine and make her drunk

I dont know much about the resturant there...but i think if u looking at fine dining then i think it will cost more than 150 in HCMC...for that price..i think it is only a better resturant..maybe i wrong

Best restaurant in HCMC by far is La Camargue - high class french on Cao Ba Quat. You will struggle to spend US$150 unless you lash out on wine.

High class Viet there are two - Maxim on Dong Khoi at River end and the one (can't recall name) on corner of Hai Bait Trung and Le Than ton.

The Chinese reataurant in Riverside is also very good.

I don't think i will lash out on wine. Just want to find a resturant with good ambience and nice food.

If i am going to have the dinner at 9pm vn time. Do you think the resturant will still be open? Especially those resturant in the hotels... (Hyatt abs Sheraton)

SIGNATURE Restaurant Sheraton western/french restaurant roof top. Very very nice view of the city. Make sure you call to reserve a window side table. Bewarned closed on Mondays

Pary Hyatt has 2 restaurants.

Opera - Italian restaurant located on the ground floor.
Square One - same concept as the restaurant in Hyatt singapore. Open concept kitchen which serves both western and viet cuisine. very nice setting. located on 1st floor.

the Chinese restaurant in Legend Hotel is CRYSTAL JADE. the closes to what you wrote is LI BAI located at Sheraton Hotel
