As bro The Lord is there during my stay, thought staying near his hotel may be a good idea for convenience of meeting up.
As DM does not have a safebox, i thought of looking at Casa Del Roque which i still can't find the hotel's website.

Any bros know the website of Casa Del Roque?

Whatever they are selling is available in the shops or bars...... fyi the retail price for black ant is only 150p per box of 4 tabs and they are oso available in some bars. Next time you need some just drop in to Cherry's Stampede and ask for Daddy Dave....... tell him you want some black ants and Bro Ninja sent you.... and no need to bargain at all as the price is fixed at 150p per box.

A piece of advice to those not too familiar with the ways of the local culture, never ever engage a street vendor. Once you start asking the price or bargaining with them, they expect you to buy something from them...... to walk away from them empty handed is deemed an insult and loss of face for them. They have been known to forcibly remove your money even in front of the cops to redeem their "honour" and the cops wun interfere in these instances.

Another warning sign is when they have reduce to the lowest possible price and you still dun intend to buy...... they will take out a flickknife and pretend to sell it to you...... actually that is a warning to you coz if you walk away you will find yourself surrounded by the vendors kakis and find the knife pointed at your midriff....... armed robbery !!

SO NEVER NEVER EVER ATTEMPT TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THE STREET VENDORS !!

Fields ave hardly ever have any flooding, usually the floods will occur in the Perimeter vicinity, the areas near Margarita / Tiger hotel / Jeepney terminal and the area further down MacArthur Highway nearer to the bridge.
Maybe you might encounter some ponding at the Santos / Real st areas but definitely no serious flooding.

Yes, I was referring to Perimeter when water was knee deep during the Typhoon but many area of Fields were also over ankle deep--more like calf high in water from what I recall. All I remember was for 3-4 days I was always WET all the time (luckily so were the gals)

Reward for my lost flipflops? Easy answer, 1st beer on me and if this was during happy hrs where it's 2 for 1 then its the 1st two beers on me.
