It was a fine victory. and hard to pick out any one player. To me, Pennant had a fine match. Kuyt did well, but i think his role of playing deep has hurt his scoring instincts. He needs to find them fast to compete against the likes of Voronin (a predatory goal ala Owen and Fowler of old) and Torres. Pennant is doing fine, and Babel is improving. It can only get better. Actually, I wun be so sure ... when Gerrard plays, the rest of the team seems to be more lax, kinda like no need to give 110% anymore becoz Gerrard will always do the magic.
Next matchday is 2 weeks away ... let's hope the momentum is sustained until then.

Yeah. I am also worried about the long rest. Even if Gerrard was available, who would we have sacrificed from last nights line up ? Masch ? Alonso ? Both played superbly and Gerard would have been hard pressed to do better.
