Sounds funny, I heard this from many and the monies is in RMB, borrow from friends/ loan shark/ etc. Reason is to make passport, clear custom etc. These were old stories, but their are employment agents. Really it's onlt a few thousand S$... but this story had been told for more than 10 yrs

My thoughts;
1. if this job doesn't require extra, why need to bond her & have 30k compensation?
2. if to break bond need to compensate 30k, she must have receive something equivalent to sign this bond. if not, who want to sign?
3. she say she did it to get the money to make you & her life better. we s'poren are not farmers or coolies. if just ordinary life shld be able to afford. tell her dun jeopardise the relationship for a no gd reason.
4. To break bond need 30k.. TS have a cough out this amt to solve this problem, at least that is what the ger is illustrating. although 5 yrs of relationship is taken into consideration, we have to bear in mind that human beings MAY change & this story may be a scam. So TS plse tackle with a clear mind & get a (smart)adviser within your circle of frds so your decisions may be analysed from more angles.

Why she signed the contract with 30k cancel compensation? u need to look further before decision and the whole thing just sounds fishy. My regular GL150 whore also claimed mum got cancer and need S$15k lor. u know what happened after i passed her some money? The very next day, she went nite shopping for clothes with another man
