Whoa, this girl's manic love style certainly reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. (Yes, I'm a girl.) The relationship can really be living hell, freakin' suffocating and extreme.

From my personal experience, the reason why they're acting this way is due to the fact that they have low self-esteem, and place much importance on their relationship. They tend to speak of their partners in possessives and superlatives, and feel they "need" their partners. They are often anxious or insecure, and view marriage as ownership.

I really empathize with your friend. Perhaps he could try bringing his girlfriend for therapy? :/

Well, it took me 3 whole years to realize that things weren't gonna work out if the other party ain't willing to do their part. It takes two hands to clap afterall. Let's hope that either the girl tries to change (ideally), or your friend wakes up and looks at the bigger picture after love stops blinding him.

Hi Sis, good words, but then it boils down to 2 reasons. Either the lady wishes to hook the guy and never let him go (she dat she can bleed him dry later) or she is really insecure and has low esteem. If she hooks jus for the sake of bleeding, I truly pity the girl. But if it is because she is insecure, then I am sure that therapy is not necessary. You see a lot of the guys making very degrading remarks about the girl because she is Thai and she is a WL, but then lets face it, a lot of us guys are pussy whipped when we are faced with normal local girls too. The lady is feeling insecure. She wants to start a new life and she loves this ex-cheongster. She needs him to show her that he is and will be there for her. And this will only be shown in time and effort.

As I mentioned and you mentioned, being in an oppressive relationship feels like sh*t.... but it really depends on the individual. If you actually prefer to be controlled, then it is ok. The thought that it he is being pussy whipped till he turns on his khakis is a sore point for the TS, however maybe in the mind of the fren, he wants to cut all and den start a new life. I know I felt the same way when I decided to marry my wife. So I cut all my cheonging and also all my contacts with other girls.
