Budget Hotels 2 IC to Check In

Went to Cosy81 this morning, the counter girl asked for 2 ICs.
Lucky, my LF is local and must show IC.

I guess in future the counter staff will asking for 1 IC and 1 Passport... hahahahhahaha

Met with this problem yesterday at K81. The counter guy requested for my partner's IC. I tld him she is not local and the counter guy said foreigners from PRC, Viet, Philipines etc....not allowed in for "security reasons". Hence I went over to Fragrance with no such issues.

Can any bros confirm does all 81 hotels have this new regulations?

Last heard they were checking passport and now a total ban of foreigners from those countries? Wonder why are they going to such great lengths when Fragrance next door is like business as usual?
