i contemplate very long already about the ass area. i agree easy to get nicked and will hurt. considering waxing. but afraid when it regrows at the stubble stage the ass is going to hurt.

If you shave, you chopped the hair off but the hair in the follicle is still the same thickness, when that grow, you will get stubble. when you wax, the hair roots are removed, what grow back are soft. As they grow it will become thicker.

well if you wax, it won't stabbing but the pain of waxing will surely reminded leh
