Actually mostly those apps are can be freely downloaded from net. The different on using this TV box (UNBLOCK Tech) is it can bypass the country IP check. If you tried use some of those apps on normal devices like Android phone/pad, it play perfectly for all the programs, TV series and channels when your drvices in China or HK, except VIP or pay movies. But when you bring back to Singapore or other countries. Then mostly all can't play. Due to the apps dectected your device connection IP are not in China. That's why you need a box have function to bypass the checking.





If you already had the movies downloaded and just want to play back on you old TV. There is other cheaper way. I'm not in Singapore, but I know Singapore implemented/changed TV broadcast signal to HDTV from PAL 2-3 years ago. If your TV is old and don't have built-in HDTV decoder (usually there is logo DV3-T2 on TV or box) how?

You need a HDTV STB (DV3-T2 decoder). Do you have one?

Here is the model I order from China 2 years ago online. Its RMB75 at that time ~S$17 per unit. It can auto scan channel when setup and receive Singapore, Indonesia & Malaysia HDTV Channels. They also have model set for incl. Thai channel too. I sure Singapore can find this kind of STB.



If you had one, see is it come with a USB port.


It can play MP4 file (incl. MKV container) and record HDTV directly from & to the USB flash drive.
If you happen to find it in Singapore, try ask for new ver. that can play MPEG H.265 encoded file and best if can decode AC3 and DTS audio tracks. Which mostly I name the file with 6CH. Coz my one can't decode AC3 & DTS, only AAC audio 2CH or 6CH encoded format.( file I posted, if the name w/o 6CH usually is AAC 2CH audio.

Here is the photo took using my phone the decoder playing the MKV file (Chappie 2015) with one of my old LCD TV. Can select the subtitle too.
