Can't speak a drop of Vietnamese, only can sing 1 song "Vang Trung Koch" I learnt more than 10 years ago :P.

OKT writes and speaks in engrish, and communications with the girls is with google translate.

I gave her 100k motorbike fee, which I later on found out to be too much. Grab App (which I got in Msia) works in Vietnam as well and was super cheap, showed less than 50k to some far out areas like 9-10km away. This is from where I stayed at Tan Binh, may vary depending on rush hour and pickup point I think.

been reading up.. seems like nobody really share good KTV joints here.. mostly i read are clubs, massage n wechat..

anybody can reccomend good ktv places?

Any 4 or 5 stars hotel that is girl friendly?

As far as I know, you can bring ladies in before 10pm for 4 or 5 stars hotel. But no overnight.
The only one which is very strict is Norfolk if I'm not wrong.
You may try New World.

Any 3 stars around Ben Thanh Market should be no issue as far as I stayed.
The girl just need to register with Counter.
Save the money for other purpose, no need to go for 4 or 5 stars.
some 3 stars around Ben Thanh is as good as 4 Stars if you upgrade to suite.

Not really; most of the 4 & 5 stars; they allowed you to bring them to your room but you must register when you check in on the 1st Day of the hotel. You can't change the VB anymore. I had stayed with my gf in Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon and Windsor

Stayed in 2 to 3 stars hotel will be the best choice in HCM. There are several good and cheap hotels in D1
