Gravesen is a winner n I always think that Hibbert and Osman r just bit part players in Everton squad. I doubt Osman will be in the team in AVM is back in biz now. But Osman is the best we have at the moment to stand in at midfield so we really need to look hard now at getting decent midfielders in the summer.

everton defence went home after 2-1 to arsenal... 1st half was good, very physical.. 2nd half it went downhill ll the way..

to me all Arsenal goals r due to our defenders fault...Hibbert cant head clear....Jagielka slip n fell(this one bobian)....yobo n howard miscommunication.....and 4th goal no body go n block/close down Rosiky......

we were good on 1st half n it Gunners change their play style in the 2nd half n it work......pump the ball up instead of making nice passes like in the 1st half(which dont wrk 4 them initially)...home record broken again... sian...

Everton boss David Moyes has made a move for unsettled Arsenal midfielder Lassana Diarra. Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson is also keen on the 22-year-old, who only moved to the Emirates from Chelsea in August.

- I m not too sure abt this fellow. He seems like a moaner to me n if he struggle to get into the Everton 1st team within a month, he is likely to make noise again. Furthermore, I still have not seen him perform well in Chelsea n Arsenal shirts yet.

Everton have attempted to ward off interest in Scotland striker James McFadden by offering him an improved deal. Birmingham and Celtic are both willing to pay around £3.5million for the 24-year-old hitman.

- I will dread to lose this fiesty character. He is a useful squad member.

Meanwhile Toffees boss David Moyes is ready to step up his bid to sign Bayern Munich's Belgian central defender Daniel van Buyten. He's spent most of the season on the sidelines.

- Frankly speaking, we should have sufficient cover at the back. Yobo, Jag, Stubbs and Lescott. But I see Daniel as a long term replacement for Stubbs n since Yobo is away for the next mth, his arrival is timely too.

I heard Vogel is on his way too n he can be the defensive midfielder we all need. Carsley is going on 34 now and Neville is not suited for a midfield role. At the moment, its also worth noting that the Everton youth setup is not producing enuff midfielders.
