Need some advice from you on the type of tvbox where I can have access to channels available locally and oversea. Can these gadgets go online with lan/wireless/fiber connection?

There are so many types listed in online malls. Just dunno what to choose.

Which online mall you can order? Let me have a look what they have first...
coz I'm not station in Singapore, usually I order from China online store sent to me shipping agent in China then ship with my other goods together by container via sea shipment. But now many of those online store they also have function to let you arrange drop ship to Singapore or Malaysia, or directly request seller send EMS (speedpost in Singapore).

For connection, yes it use WiFi connection to your existing modem/router or use the RJ45 network cable (if you have a lot things to download). Just like SmartTV. For speed, its depend on your plan with Internet service provider.

For TV STB mostly are Android OS. So, usually need to find a higher ver of OS, bigger running RAM for smooth buffering and multitasking. Also the bigger storage RAM for install apps.

Okay, as I checked the list from Lazada, few mdoel listed are quite new.
If your TV already can receive Singapore HDTV then you don't need the TV box with DVB-T2 decode (also can rec'd Malaysia & Indonesia HDTV channels).
Depend on what channels you want to watch... in my case, I will look in to more details from this three model. Maybe you can ask more questions in the comments/review under their page (different sellers). For example, can they pre setting the channel you want, plan & pay channels, firmware update is it automatic online... etc
